Couple Chain Themselves Together for Three Months
Tired of constantly fighting and breaking up, a couple from Ukraine have decided to try and save their relationship using an unusual method: chaining themselves together for three months.
Alexandr Kudlay, 33, and Viktoria Pustovitova, 28, tied their hands together on Valentine's Day and haven't spent a moment apart since.
Now, no matter what they do, whether it's shopping, household chores, or even going to the bathroom, they do it together.
"With every day passing, we are getting used to it more and more. It gets easier," Kudlay told Reuters.
Kudlay said he came up with the idea after his girlfriend once again said she wanted to break up with him, to which he replied: "Then I will attach you to myself."
Pustovitova refused at first, but later changed her mind. "I decided it will be an interesting experience for me," she said. "I love him, so I came to a decision to do it."
The couple have talked about their experience on Ukrainian television, and they share photos of their new life together on social media. They have also shared a video showing the special clothes they wear, which have zips on one side from top to bottom so they can easily change with their hands still chained.
After a month, the couple say they still argue sometimes, but now when they disagree they just stop talking instead of walking away. Although they still have two months to go, they are confident that they will make it to the end.
